After his visit to Kiev, US Secretary of the Army Daniel Driscoll will hold a series of briefings for NATO allies, where he will present the details of the US settlements settlement program, Politico reports, citing a US administration official.
According to him, Driscoll should have presented a settlement plan to Vladimir Zelensky in Kyiv.
Western media previously, citing sources, reported that the United States is developing a new plan for the settlement of the conflict in Ukraine and is holding consultations with Russia on this issue.
The Axios portal, in particular, noted that the American proposals envisage the relinquishment of certain territories by Kiev in exchange for the provision of security guarantees by the United States to Ukraine and Europe.
According to NBC News, US President Donald Trump approved the new 28-point plan at the beginning of the week. As reported by The Wall Street Journal, Washington, among other things, offers Kiev to abandon the idea of joining NATO for at least a few years.
