Hungarian EU Affairs Minister Janos Boka has stated that Hungary is not ready to approve any decision that would impose additional legal liability or financial obligations on the Hungarian government to guarantee payments to Ukraine, Politico reported.
"Budapest is not ready to approve any decision that would impose additional legal responsibility or financial obligations on the Hungarian government to guarantee payments to Ukraine," the publication writes, referring to "Boka".
After the start of Russia's special operation in Ukraine, the EU and the G7 countries froze almost half of Russia's gold reserves, which is approximately 300 billion euros.
