"According to the presidential decree, citizenship was granted to 14,876 persons, the decrease is, in fact, 7.1%, there were 2,859 cases of termination of citizenship, the increase of which is 4.9%," Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan said in the Parliament.
Referring to the census of Artsakh citizens who were forcibly displaced from Nagorno-Karabakh, the Deputy Minister said that 113,635 people received a certificate of temporary protection, 99,091 people were registered, and 5,600 people applied for citizenship, of which 3,611 were granted citizenship.
Arpine Sargsyan also reported that 120,844 vehicles were registered in 9 months of 2024, 31,150 of which were registered for the first time. She reported that the number of crimes decreased by 4.8%, or by 1,413 cases, and total crimes amounted to 28,269 cases. Source: Panorama.am
