On the orders of Pentagon Secretary Pete Hegsett, the US military has destroyed another ship in the Pacific Ocean that the US says was used for drug smuggling.
This was reported by the US Southern Command. Hegsett previously announced the launch of the "Southern Spear" anti-narcotics operation.
"On orders from Secretary of War Pete Hegsett, Joint Task Force Southern Spear conducted a lethal kinetic strike on a vessel used by a terrorist organization."
The intelligence has confirmed that the ship was involved in illegal drug trafficking," the statement of the command says.
