Meanwhile, clause 6 of the Armenian-Russian agreement signed in 1992 states: - "Russia's border guard troops are carrying out the release of people, vehicles, cargo, goods and other things through the existing crossing points on the border of Armenia with Turkey and Iran."
According to the new agreement reached between Yerevan and Moscow, Article 6 of the agreement effectively ceases to operate. Azatutyun, in particular, asked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs whether the 32-year-old contract would be revised.
