The number of tourists visiting RA decreased by 6.9 percent in January-September of the current year. RA Minister of Finance Vahe Hovhannisyan announced this today while presenting the 2025 state budget draft in the National Assembly.
"This is mainly due to the 21.6 percent decrease in the number of tourists from Russia," Hovhannisyan said.
According to him, although the number of tourists from Russia has decreased, the number of tourists from other countries has increased by 8.4 percent, particularly from Iran, Georgia, China and India.
