At least 12 people were killed and 27 others were injured as a result of an explosion carried out by a suicide bomber in the capital of Pakistan, Islamabad, GEO TV channel reported on November 11.
The Minister of Interior of Pakistan, Mohsin Naqvi, stated that at first the terrorist tried to enter the court building of the capital, but "not getting such an opportunity, he attacked a police car" in the parking lot near the building. As a result, the explosion occurred at approximately 12:39 local time.
Naqvi emphasized that the country's Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif instructed to provide medical aid to the victims as effectively as possible and to find out the identity of the terrorist as soon as possible. After the explosion, everyone was evacuated from the court building.
