US President Donald Trump has signed an executive order pardoning dozens of people accused of meddling in the 2020 US election, including Trump's former lawyer and former New York mayor Rudy Giuliani and retired White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, pardon attorney Ed Martin said.
"This official announcement puts an end to the grave national injustice done to the American people after the 2020 presidential election.
Donald Trump hereby grants a full and unconditional pardon," the text of the pardon, published on Ed Martin's social media page, reads.
Among other things, the text states that the pardon does not apply to Trump himself.
