Former US President Joe Biden accused the current US President Donald Trump of humiliating the country.
"I want you to understand, Mr. President, you work for us, not we for you. You work for us, not just billionaires and millionaires. I am angry. This is a democracy, there are no kings in a democracy, and your actions are an embarrassment to us as a country," Biden said on November 7 at a Democratic Party event in Omaha, Nebraska.
The former head of the American administration compared the recent demolition of the East Wing of the White House with Trump's approach to the entire country. "Did you see what he did to the East Wing of the White House?" This is a great symbol of his presidency," he said.
He believes that Trump is doing the same to "the Constitution, the rule of law and democracy."
