"Fact" daily writes:
According to our information, on the eve of the elections to be held in Vagharshapat, in the ranks of CP, as they say, dawns are not so peaceful. The sources of the newspaper convey that local hoodlums are urging the governor of Armavir and Argishti Mekhakyan, who heads the CP list, to convince Nikol Pashinyan that he will suddenly not show the sides of Etchmiadzin in this pre-election period.
More precisely, not to interfere with pre-election processes. The point is that local activists are afraid that taking into account the shamefully low rating of the KP in the entire country, including the settlements of the enlarged Vagharshapat community, and the objective prospect of defeat in the near future, Nikol Pashinyan may consider and, according to custom, take the "burden" on his shoulders and visit Etchmiadzin, even personally hold a rally, in order to save the situation.
However, the Kapakans understand that they are already in a difficult situation, and now it is simply impossible to convince people that the Pashinyan attack against the Mother See and, in general, the Armenian Apostolic Church is correct, for the sake of the Church, etc. The majority of the local population categorically rejects the war declared by Pashinyan against the Armenian Apostolic Church.
This means that Nikol Pashinyan can do a "disservice" to his team, and his visit will completely destroy the last hopes of achieving any success in the council elections, even though it is now obvious that in the case of fair and honest elections, the KP has no, even theoretical, chance of forming a majority.
