Manvel Grigoryan's daughter, judge Naira Grigoryan, has her powers suspended

The powers of judge Naira Grigoryan, the daughter of late General Manvel Grigoryan, have been suspended.

The Prosecutor's Office applied to the Supreme Judicial Council with a request to initiate a public criminal prosecution against Judge Grgoryan, which was granted.

It is stated in the decision of the Central Bank of Ukraine: "On November 6 and 7, 2025, in closed sessions, based on the approval of the petition No. 1/12-12-25 submitted by the Prosecutor General on November 6, 2025, "On giving consent to initiate public criminal prosecution against Naira Manveli Grigoryan, judge of the court of first instance of general jurisdiction of Armavir region of the Republic of Armenia" No. 7 of November 2025 of the Supreme Judicial Council No. Decision BDH-80-O-K-5 and guided by Article 94, Part 1, Article 165, Part 1 of the Constitutional Law "Judicial Code of the Republic of Armenia", Clause 86 of Appendix 1 of Decision No. BDH-68-N-15 of the Supreme Judicial Council of October 22, 2020, the Supreme Judicial Council decides on the general jurisdiction of the first instance of Armavir marz to suspend the powers of court judge Naira Grigoryan until the end of the criminal proceedings."
