Great Britain has canceled the sanctions imposed on Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa for the transition period, according to the statement of the Ministry of Finance of Great Britain.

Previously, "al-Sharaa" was under sanctions against the international terrorist organization "al-Qaeda" (which is banned in Russia).

Sanctions were also canceled against Syrian Interior Minister Anas Khattab.
