The airport of the Belgian city of Liège suspended its operations on Friday morning after a drone was spotted in the sky, Belga news agency reports.
"According to the air traffic controller at Skays, air traffic at Liège airport had to be suspended again on Friday morning due to the appearance of a drone," the statement said.
According to available information, the drone was spotted above the FedEx Postal Service building around 6:00 a.m. local time (8:00 a.m. Moscow time). As of 8:00 a.m. (10:00 a.m. Moscow time), the airport was neither releasing nor accepting planes.
Last night, a drone disrupted the operation of the Brussels airport for half an hour.
