"Back in April, the daily newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reported that the local authorities intend to unite all the existing inspection bodies in RA. According to our sources, the Government aimed to create a single, so-called power committee, which would be headed by one person, have deputies, and the inspectorates would have their own inspectors, who would be well paid and carry out serious inspections in various areas.
However, as our sources close to the Government are telling "The People" at the moment, the process of creating a committee is frozen. Of course, this issue was discussed at different times, but due to a number of sectoral problems, the process was stopped. It should be noted that at the moment there are 6 different inspection bodies that are under the control of the Prime Minister.
"Zhoghovurd" also reported that the idea of creating the committee caused dissatisfaction among the employees of the inspection bodies, as it was planned to reduce about 1400 employees. it can be said that a riot was brewing in the inspections in this regard. Although during the discussions in the government it was emphasized that the amount of layoffs should be reduced as much as possible, but it seems that no solutions have been found in this matter. In short, after long discussions, the issue of creating a new committee is currently pending. the process has stopped."
