Apple is testing new color options for the upcoming iPhone 18 Pro, according to MacRumors, citing Chinese insider Instant Digital.

According to an inside source, the iPhone 18 Pro's experimental colors are burgundy, purple, and coffee, all of which are deeper and warmer than the current models.

At the same time, the source notes that Apple is considering the complete elimination of dark colors, including the familiar Space Black and Graphite. In this case, the iPhone 18 Pro could be the company's first flagship without the classic black case.

The release of the iPhone 18 Pro is not expected until the fall of 2026. At that time, Apple may repeatedly revise the color palettes of future smartphones, or even abandon those plans and keep more familiar options, including black.
