The possibility of resolving the conflict in Ukraine will be the main topic during the meeting between Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán and US President Donald Trump on November 7 in Washington. This was announced by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Hungary, Peter Szijarto, in connection with Orbán's upcoming foreign visit.
"Establishing peace in Ukraine will be an important item on the agenda," the foreign minister said at a press conference in Budapest.
He added that Orbani will be received by Trump at the White House. Cijarto also expressed hope that Moscow and Washington will eventually be able to reach an agreement on the settlement of the Ukrainian conflict. "We hope that the presidents of the United States and Russia will reach an agreement that will return peace to Central Europe," the minister said.
