The Russian Orthodox Church (ROE) supports the canonical Ukrainian Orthodox Church (UOE), Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Russia announced.
"Yes, of course, we support," Patriarch Kirill said when asked by journalists whether the Russian Orthodox Church supports the Ukrainian Orthodox Church.
Earlier, the experts of the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations expressed concern about the persecution of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church, which limits the freedom of religion and religious activities.
