Chinese electric car manufacturer XPeng has started pilot production of flying cars at a factory in southern China, Xinhua reports.
XPeng Aeroht, the flying car division of Chinese electric car maker XPeng, began trial production on Monday at the world's first "smart" factory to mass-produce electric vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) aircraft, the company said in a statement.
The 120,000-square-meter factory in Guangzhou, southern China's Guangdong province, has already produced the first detachable electric aircraft of the Land Aircraft Carrier Modular Vehicle.
