"Yesterday there was a fight between the Chairman of the Defense Commission Andranik Kocharyan and member Hayk Sargsyan: "2026. during the discussion of the draft law on the state budget. During the closed discussion, in which NSS Director Andranik Simonyan, Prime Minister Suren Papikyan, BTA Minister Mkhitar Hayrapetyan and other members of the government also participated, passions heated up when H. Sargsyan resisted and did not comply with Kocharyan's demand to remove his laptop.
Kocharyan said: if the phones are collected and placed in a special non-declassified device, then, by the same logic, there should not be a laptop in the room, but Sargsyan objected, he even tried to scold Kocharyan in the person of Pashinyan that he goes to the meeting with the Prime Minister with his laptop.
However, the leader of the session remained adamant and insisted on the demand. Mkhitar Hayrapetyan intervened, joining Kocharyan's demand, after which only Sargsyan left the room and returned without a laptop. The CP says that the relations between these persons are tense.
Hayk Sargsyan believes that Kocharyan has "cooked" the ruling team in such a way that they reject the project he authored to get rid of the army with money, or rather, to serve for a short period of time.
Recently, the deputy tried to bring that project to the agenda again in a slightly modified form, but the CP again resisted. Hayk Sargsyan asked Papikyan to present it to Pashinyan, and now he is waiting for an answer.
