In the past, public defender Karlen Grayan was appointed assistant to the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia from June 10, 2024. From his official official declaration for 2024, we learn that at the beginning of the year, the assistant to the NA President had jointly owned 2 real estates, an apartment, one of which is in Yerevan, Malatia-Sebastia administrative district, and the other is in Gyumri. the apartments were acquired in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Grayan previously submitted a statement as a family member of the head of the Shirak regional division of the Office of the Human Rights Defender.
In that period, he bought an apartment in Yerevan for 25 million 563 thousand drams, and a year later he bought an apartment in Gyumri for only 2 million drams. According to the 2023 declaration, Opel was acquired in 2019, and Nissan in 2023 for AMD 5.2 million.
