US electric car maker Tesla's sales in Norway, Sweden and Denmark fell in October 2025, underscoring the strain on the European electric car market, Reuters reported on November 3.

It said registrations of new Tesla electric cars were down 89% in Sweden, 86% in Denmark and 50% in Norway. Meanwhile, sales of American electric vehicles in France rose 2.4%.

Tesla faces declining sales in Europe in 2025 due to aging models, while Chinese rivals are rapidly rolling out new electric car models.
