The meeting of foreign ministers of seven countries started in Istanbul on Monday, dedicated to the cease-fire regime in the Gaza Strip, the correspondent of "RIA Novosti" reported.
The source of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkey previously told "RIA Novosti" that Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan will draw the attention of his colleagues to Israel's attempts to undermine the ceasefire under various pretexts.
The ministers of Turkey, UAE, Indonesia, Qatar, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia and Jordan are participating in the meeting to be held in Istanbul.
The ministerial meeting started at a hotel in the center of Istanbul at approximately 14:15 Moscow time. After the meeting, the Turkish Foreign Minister is expected to give a speech to journalists.
Before the meeting, Fidan had a number of bilateral meetings.
