Hungary is not obliged to finance Kiev, it has no moral, political or economic reasons for it, announced Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban.
"The Economist" reports that Ukraine will need 400 billion dollars over the next four years to continue the war. And again, Europe is expected to pay for it.
No one wants to bear the cost anymore. This is why Brussels is so worried. That is why they want to seize the frozen Russian assets, revise the EU financing system and take new loans.
"We reject this. Hungary has no obligation to finance Ukraine. We have no reason to do this, neither political, nor economic, nor moral," Orban wrote on social networks.
The leader of Hungary noted that his country is not alone in this point of view. Budapest expresses its opinion more boldly than anyone else, that is why Brussels is attacking it, Orbán added.
