US President Donald Trump believes that the Ukrainian conflict can be resolved soon. He stated this in an interview with CBS News that aired on November 2. "Yes, I think we will get there," he said when asked if he thought the conflict could be resolved "within a few months."
In this regard, Trump expressed confidence that the Russian leadership wants to "have business relations with the United States".
The head of the American administration also actually admitted that the United States and the West, in general, underestimated Russia's leadership in the context of the Ukrainian crisis. "We have had nine wars on this planet. I have put an end to eight of them. There is only one left, Russia-Ukraine," said Trump.
