Russian President Vladimir Putin sent a congratulatory message to the 127th Intelligence Brigade on the occasion of the honorary title of "Guardsman". As mentioned in the telegram published on the website of the Kremlin, the head of state described it as the highest grade and recognition of special merit.
Putin emphasized that the servicemen of the brigade showed massive heroism, courage and endurance while fulfilling their military duty. He emphasized that the "smart and decisive actions" of the unit's personnel during the special military operation became an example in terms of professional skills and self-sacrifice. By the presidential decree signed on October 29, the 127th brigade was officially awarded the rank of "Guards".
Earlier, Putin met the soldiers of that unit at the Central Military Clinical Hospital named after Mandrika.
