The United States has conducted the first flight of the YFQ-44A unmanned aerial vehicle, which was developed within the framework of the American Combat Aircraft (CCA) program, the office of the Secretary of the US Air Force Troy Maink said.
"Today, the US Air Force made progress in its CCA program with the first flight of the YFQ-44A developed by Anduril. This achievement shows how competition drives innovation and accelerates delivery," the office said in a statement on X's social media page.
The office also added that the flight provided them with the precise data needed to ensure the program's delivery of weapons at the required volume and speed.
