Let's remind that on Saturday, a group of clergymen of Aragatsotn Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Holy Church informed through a statement that 19 priests and 2 deacons were sent notices of the Investigative Committee with the demand to appear for questioning on Sunday at 9:00.
It is clear that this was not a legal, but a political step, in order to "gather" all the other clergymen from the Aragatsotn Diocese before the liturgy to be held in Hovhannavank, so that Stepan Asatryan (formerly Father Aram), who was declared disorganized by the Mother See, would welcome Nikol Pashinyan to the monastery, offer liturgy and give communion. The author of the notification was Nazeli Sargsyan, senior investigator of the Yerevan Investigation Department.
"Zhoghovurd" daily newspaper tried to find out from the defenders of the clergy what was the process of the notification case. turned out to be no process.
