In today's court session, the preventive detention of Arsen Ghukasyan, a relative of the missing soldier, was replaced by house arrest, a ban on absenteeism and a bail of 1 million drams.
Lawyer Tatevik Soghoyan mentioned in a conversation with journalists after the court session that they will appeal against Arsen Ghukasyan's house arrest. According to him, there are no grounds for arrest.
It should be reminded that Arsen Ghukasyan and Apijan Sargsyan, the relatives of the missing persons, were arrested within the framework of the proceedings initiated on the basis of the report of the Ministry of Defense and RO officers regarding the scuffle that took place near the Ministry of Defense building on September 29.
A motion was filed with the court for a restraining order. On October 7, Arsen Ghukasyan was detained for 1 month. Earlier, lawyer Tatevik Soghoyan wrote that Arsen Ghukasyan has 9 serious diseases related only to the heart, which are listed as diseases incompatible with detention by the Government's decision N 825.
