The Israeli authorities handed over the bodies of more than 200 Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in the enclave to the Gaza Health Ministry after reaching an agreement with the radical movement "Hamas". This information was published by the Ministry of Health of Gaza.
"The ministry received the bodies of 30 Palestinians on Friday," the ministry said in a statement. The bodies were handed over to the Israeli side through representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC).
According to the agency, in total, since the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel came into force, the Ministry of Health has received the bodies of 225 Palestinians.
The ministry said that special medical teams "continue to examine the bodies in accordance with established procedures and identify them for later handover to the families of the deceased."
