Alexander Kochubaev's wife is currently in an extremely critical condition in the intensive care unit and is on artificial respiration, but there is still no response from the RA General Prosecutor's Office. Lawyer Erik Aleksanyan wrote about this on his Facebook page.
Earlier, he sent an open letter to RA General Prosecutor Anna Vardapetyan, in which it was said: "Dear Ms. Vardapetyan, bearing in mind the fact that the criminal proceedings against the lawyer Alexander Kochubaev have not yet been transferred to the court with an indictment, I ask you to use the exclusive authority and cancel the preventive detention chosen against Alexander Kochubaev, because after the birth of the latter's child, his wife's health deteriorated sharply.
Bearing in mind that the mentioned is a medical secret, therefore, I cannot publicly announce the specific irreversible consequences that occurred in Kochubaev's family, but the relevant medical certificate will be presented to you within minutes."
