Today, October 25, an emergency happened in Yerevan. Around 09:40, the Yerevan regiment of the police patrol service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received information that the electric pole on Yervand Kochar street was loosened from its place and in a half-turned state partially blocked the 3 lanes intended for traffic, and power lines are also located in the road section.
As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports, the patrols of the 2nd company of the 1st battalion of the Yerevan regiment of the RA MIA police patrol service, led by battalion commander Gor Arakelyan, deputy battalion commander Davit Nikoghosyan and company commander Gegham Epremyan, arrived promptly.
The patrols of the same company, Sos Serobyan and Edik Arakelyan, demarcated the area, until the employees of Yerevan Municipality, "Hayastani Electric Networks" company and "Yerqaghluys" arrived at the scene.
The latter dismantled the dangerous electric pole, after which the road became passable.
