On the recommendation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia and based on Part 1 of Article 133 of the Constitution of the Republic of Armenia, as well as the relevant provisions of the Law "On Military Service and the Status of Servicemen", Gevorg Mkheiyan was appointed the military commissar of the Republic.
