Norway allocated almost 150 million dollars to Ukraine

Norwegian authorities are allocating almost 150 million dollars to strengthen Ukraine's energy security, reports Prime Minister Jonas Gahr Støre.

"Norway allocates an additional 1.5 billion kroner ($149 million) to provide heat and electricity (sustainable supply) to Ukraine," said a press release posted on the Norwegian government's website.

The publication notes that the funds will be transferred through the program called "Ukraine Investment Framework" of the European Union.

According to the press release, earlier on Wednesday, Vladimir Zelensky arrived at the Oslo airport, where he was met by the Prime Minister of Norway.
