Some EU member states have expressed displeasure at the suspension of discussions on possible sanctions against Israel, the Spanish newspaper El País reports, citing its sources.
According to him, during their meeting on October 20, EU foreign ministers decided not to apply such measures for now, which caused dissatisfaction in some countries. Foreign ministers discussed how the EU can contribute to the implementation of US President Donald Trump's plan to end the conflict in the Gaza Strip.
