Several EU leaders intend to attend the Trump-Putin meeting

Several leaders of European countries intend to get the right to attend the meeting between the presidents of the USA and Russia, Donald Trump, and Vladimir Putin, which is being prepared in Budapest, POLITICO reports.

According to the source of the publication, individual leaders of the EU will strive to achieve the right to attend the meeting between Trump and Putin, as well as to ensure the participation of the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in all negotiations.

It is said that the Europeans fear most of all that Trump will again "take Putin's side" in determining the terms of peace and pressure Zelensky to agree to Russia's terms, possibly at the cost of ceding significant territory in the east of the country.
