Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu discussed the implementation of US President Donald Trump's Gaza peace plan, the strengthening of bilateral relations and the region with the head of Egyptian intelligence, Hassan Mahmoud Rashad, in Jerusalem, the Prime Minister's Office reports.
"Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his team of specialists met with the head of Egyptian intelligence at the Prime Minister's Office in Jerusalem," the statement said.
The prime minister's office added that the parties discussed "advancement of US President Trump's Gaza settlement plan, Israeli-Egyptian relations and strengthening of peace between the two countries, as well as regional issues."
