The special envoy of the US President, Steve Wittkoff, and Jared Kushner, who was President Donald Trump's chief adviser during the first period of his tenure and was recently involved in the negotiations on the establishment of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip, arrived in Israel to discuss issues related to the implementation of the Gaza ceasefire agreement, the US Embassy informed The Times of Israel.
Wittkoff and Kushner's visit to Israel is part of a coordinated US effort to prevent further disruption of the Gaza ceasefire regime. They are expected to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other senior officials.
