Centrist Rodrigo Paz won the presidential elections in Bolivia, the country's Central Electoral Commission reports, after counting more than 97% of the ballots.

The data was submitted to the vote counting center.

"We want to announce to the people of Bolivia that we have counted almost 100% of the votes, which are now irreversible," Oscar Hassenteeufel, president of the Bolivian Electoral Court, told reporters.

Participation in the elections was 85-89%.
