Vladimir Zelensky may attend a high-level meeting with Europeans in Brussels this week after talks with US President Donald Trump failed, Politico reported, citing sources familiar with the preparations.
"European leaders are rallying around Vladimir Zelensky after a disappointing meeting with Donald Trump at the White House. Zelensky is expected to attend a high-level meeting in Brussels later this week."
"Zelensky will try to secure support in the EU after the summit in Washington," the statement said.
Politico notes that the meeting can probably take place within the framework of the EU summit, this Thursday, October 23.
