"Mercedes" and a motorcycle collided in Yerevan. the motorcyclist was taken to the hospital

Today, a car and a motorcycle collided in Yerevan. At around 4:20 p.m., a "Mercedes" car driven by 24-year-old Yasha H., a resident of Kotayk region, and a "Kawasaki" motorcycle driven by 21-year-old Edgar N., a resident of Yerevan, collided on the Artashat highway on the road section leading from Ararat region to Yerevan.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan reports from the scene, the motorcycle overturned as a result of the collision, and the motorcyclist, who was the first to come to the aid of the citizens, the driver of "Mercedes" and, according to those gathered at the scene, the emergency team of Yerevan 1-03 ambulance doctors, who provided the necessary medical care on the spot before transferring the injured to the "Erebuni" medical center.

The patrols of the 2nd platoon of the 3rd battalion of the Yerevan regiment of the police patrol service of the RA Ministry of Internal Affairs, led by battalion commander Armen Gasparyan, deputy battalion commander Artak Siradeghyan, and deputy platoon commander Misha Khachatryan, arrived promptly.

The territory was demarcated by Serob Lalayan and Tigran Sargsyan, patrolmen of the same company. The information about the incident was transferred from the Yerevan Police Regiment to the Traffic Crime Investigation Department of the Yerevan Investigation Department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigation team headed by Deputy Heads of the Department Grigor Avetisyan, Artur Adamyan and senior investigator Aramazd Harutyunyan arrived. According to the facts of the case, criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigative department. The driver and the motorcyclist underwent a sobriety test and were sober.
