Pakistan and Afghanistan have agreed to extend the ceasefire until the end of the planned talks in Doha, Reuters reported, citing three sources in the Pakistani security forces and one in the Afghan Taliban.
"Pakistan and Afghanistan agreed on Friday to extend the 48-hour ceasefire until the end of the negotiations scheduled in Doha," the agency reported.
According to sources, the Pakistani delegation has already arrived in Doha, while the Afghan delegation is scheduled to arrive in the Qatari capital on Saturday.
