The Lebanese court decided to release Hannibal Gaddafi, the son of the late Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi (1942-2011), on bail of 11 million dollars. The investigating judge made this decision on October 17

Gaddafi's 50-year-old son has been arrested in Lebanon since 2015. He was kidnapped by the militants of the "Amal" movement from neighboring Syria, where he lived as a political exile, and then handed over to the Lebanese law enforcement agencies.
In 2017, the defendant was charged with concealing information about the Shia imam Musa Sadr, who disappeared in Libya in 1978.
