Vladimir Zelensky said that upon his arrival in the USA and before the talks with President Donald Trump, he met with representatives of the Raytheon defense company, which produces Tomahawk missiles and is the developer of the Patriot system.
Earlier, Trump, commenting on the possible decision to supply long-range "Tomahawk" missiles to Ukraine, stated that the United States itself needs them, despite the availability of a large number.
"I met with representatives of the Raytheon defense company, which, among other things, produces Patriot systems," Zelensky wrote on his Telegram channel.
According to Zelensky, cooperation between the USA and Ukraine to strengthen Ukraine's air defense was discussed at the meeting.
