According to the message posted on the website of the Canadian government, international explosive ordnance disposal exercises will be held in the Canadian province of New Brunswick on October 16-29.
The "Passionate Defender 2025" military exercise is being held at the Gagetown Armed Forces Base in Canada.
Participants include servicemen from Australia, Austria, Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Canada, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Slovakia, Sweden and the Czech Republic. The number of personnel involved has not been disclosed.
The exercise will focus on the disposal of unexploded ordnance and improvised explosive devices, and explore various possible scenarios for the safe disposal of explosive devices. The aim of the exercises is also to develop cooperation between the servicemen of the countries.
