Vladimir Zelensky has signed a decree on creating a military city administration in Odessa, which will double the functions of the current executive branch and mayor Gennady Trukhanov, which was deprived of Ukrainian's citizenship on Tuesday.
"Create a Military Department of Odessa, Odessa region of Odessa region (UZV)," said the decree published on Zelensky's website.
Zelensky, Sergey Lisak, who previously led the Dnepropetrovsk region, appointed Head of the Military Department of the Odessa Guard.
"Assign Sergey Petrovich Lisaki Head of the Military Department of Odessa, Odessa region," the decree said.
