US President Donald Trump deserves Nobel Peace Award for his efforts to normalize the situation in the Middle East, Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Siararto told reporters.
"Trump would undoubtedly respect the Nobel Peace Prize, as he did a lot not only in Ukraine but to establish peace around the world. I was the only foreign minister in the world who took part in the signing ceremony of Abraham's agreements five years ago in Washington.
These agreements were the first step that inspired the real hope for the return of the Middle East for a peaceful and safe life. And now, the agreement reached yesterday is the second successful step, "he said.
Syyarto expressed hope that "after unsuccessful decades, this solution can really bring peace to the Middle East region."
