European Commission President Ursula von der Der Leen has demanded that Serbia join the EU's sanctions, without which Brussels will not be able to consider Belgrade a "reliable partner", which will hinder the EU.
"It is time for Serbia to take concrete steps to join the EU," said the European Commission's head at a visit to Serbia.
"We need to see more agreements on our foreign policy, including sanctions against Russia.
Congratulations on reaching 61% of the EU's foreign policy with Serbia. But more is needed. We want to see Serbia as a reliable partner, "he said.
Within the framework of the institutional process of EU Enlargement, all candidate countries, as a precondition for membership, must direct their foreign policy 100% to Brussels.
