On October 25, Mother See in Holy Etchmiadzin, H.E. Karekin the Second Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians received the pilgrims from Thailand, accompanied by Arto Artinyan, Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia in the Kingdom of Thailand. At the beginning of the meeting, Tiar Artinyan presented to His Holiness the guests and the purpose of their visit, which is to recognize Armenia as an ancient Christian country with a rich culture. :
Welcoming the pilgrims' visit to the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin, His Holiness emphasized that such visits greatly contribute to the mutual recognition of the two peoples and the strengthening of intercultural ties.
In his speech, the Armenian Patriarch also referred to the special role of the Armenian Church in the life of the Armenian people, as well as the challenges faced by the Armenian people due to the disastrous consequences of the Artsakh war and the importance of the Church's mission in overcoming them.
