On October 11, as of 20:00, the Minister of Internal Affairs Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Arpine Sargsyan continues to have intensive fire extinguishing operations in the area of about 2 hectares of Nubarashen household landfill.
This was reported by the rescue service. During the firefighting work, the Rescue Officers of the Ministry of Internal Affairs effectively cooperate with the employees of the Yerevan Municipality. The work of the Minister of Internal Affairs and the Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Kamo Corulyan coordinates the work.
About 374 tons of water were used during the day, about 300 marches were made to prevent the spread of fire. There is no open fire, there are smoking centers, and the volume of smoke has fallen. 10 fire brigades and 3 operative groups were involved in firefighting. Total 77 Rescue Servants, Yerevan Municipality forces with water pipes and engineering equipment.
It should be reminded that on October 9, at 11:53 p.m., an alarm was received at the Nubarashen landfill at the National Crisis Management Center.
As a result of operative response, firefighters managed to restrict the spread of fire in the burning zone of about 2 hectares of household waste. In the first days, 6 fire brigades were involved, 1 operative group and 29 rescue servants, as well as 11 trucks of Yerevan Municipality, 2 water pipes and 5 engineering equipment. Fire site moved to 55 trucks and pushed about 50 tons of water.
The firefighting works are currently undergone with the same intensity. The blockade of 8 external lighting has already been installed, and the basic works are being installed, the design and placement process for installation of cameras is completed, the checkpoint is repaired.
