The "Fact" daily writes:
The process of normalization of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations is underway at two levels, official and informal.
At the official level, the leaders and representatives of the two countries regularly meet, discussing the peace agreement, demarcation, the opening of transport corridors. These negotiations take place on European platforms or directly on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
At the same time, there is an unofficial level through non-governmental organizations, analytical centers and grant funds, which aim to promote dialogue and reconciliation.
One of the such structures is the LINKS Europe Foundation, which formed a group of Armenian and Azerbaijani experts at the beginning of the year on rapprochement between the two peoples. The Azerbaijani side is represented by Murad Muradov, Deputy Director of the Topchupp Candle.
In July, they held a meeting in Vilnius, where, according to the participants, "they became closer to each other," no without coffee and friendly conversations. On September 22, Muradov arrived in Yerevan to take part in the 108th Seminar of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly, where he delivered a report on the peace process. He was accompanied by the Deputy Chairman of the "Civil Agreement" party's defense committee. The next day, Muradov took part in the session of the Armenian experts, who are involved in the same thematic groups.
The meeting was also attended by EU representatives and representatives of a number of embassies, including the Ambassador of the Netherlands. A wide range of issues were discussed, reports from European specialists were presented. The next meeting is scheduled for October 27-28 in Tbilisi, where according to preliminary data, the process will join the process of the Turkish President's administration, with the aim of being involved in the normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations.
